Fallen Oak

I took this picture about two weeks ago. It's not great, but that oak on the left...

...after the gale we had last night this is all that's left:

It's hard to convey the size of the fallen tree as most of it has fallen into a sunken lane and it's difficult to find an angle.

Here's the survivor; I will return when I have a bit more time but if past events are a guide the landowner will cut up the remains pretty quickly.
